Hi Leonard - thanks for the feedback - appreciated. Business Plans are one of the most under utilised tools available to business - invariably when a Business Plan is used as it should be - to guide the growth of a business - and it is regularly updated - the business performs well. Thanks again for you comment. Bruce

Hi Felipe - Thank you for your Blog comment. With regard to the potential client, I think the best approach is to educate him about how the web works. I have found most people know very little about it and as a result are somewhat reluctant to invest what they should in order to get a return. However when their understanding of what is involved is increased, they are generally more amenable to paying what is needed. Generally building a site is only 30% of the cost in the first year - the rest is what is needed to rank well and engage your audience. Sometimes clients baulk at this and I ask them what an additional salesperson would cost - which is what most sites are intended to be - this analogy tends to put the costs into perspective! Think if you invest a bit of time educating your client it should work out. Hope this helps. Regards Bruce

I definitely concur. I asked a supplier of beauty products had he ever used affiliates. He has a website web page but no one particular driving traffic to it. He was extremely interested and I'm now designing a squidoo web page for him. My question is, how should I present it to him. We have not talked payment or anything. Should I show him how the internet site drives traffic or what?
